Overview

The Sales Office Manager introduces limitless possibilities to the inside sales team in the fulfillment of Clow’s vision through inspiration, excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and extraordinary customer service. This role empowers the team by advocating on their behalf.

 

Key Performance Indicators (what must be produced to create an ROI):

  • Leadership: Score a 4.5 or higher out of 5
  • Employee Experience: Score an 8 or better out of 10
  • Customer Experience: Score a 4.5 or more out of 5 on the Net Promoter Score
  • Sustainability: Sales errors of RSGV & Hydrants at or less than 1 order per month based on quarterly ISO reviews AND On-time delivery to customers to our promise dates at 95% for 2-24 inch RSGV and stock hydrants.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Leadership (35%): Lead inside sales team in fulfilling orders accurately by setting performance goals and realistic expectations. Coach and guide employees on   growth opportunities and personal development to maximize their potential. Efficiently delegate and empower employees to optimize their resources that elevate them to success. Model and implement corporate initiatives and be the voice of the sales team in all meetings.

     

  • Customer Focus (30%): Collaborate with internal departments to expedite orders and effectively communicate needs to ensure clear understanding. Astutely coordinate Municipal bids for the inside sales department. Annually, evaluate and propose modified stock plans for trade customers. Attend sales events as well as trade shows to maximize business potential and to remain connected and relevant within the industry. Manage inside sales team to ensure customer’s expectations and quality of service is fulfilled. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate customer plant visits as needed.

     

  • Building Relationships (30%): Effectively build rapport and set clear expectations with all sales employees and be the conduit for inside and outside sales teams. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure external customer demands are fulfilled while ensuring internal abilities remain sustainable. Keenly manage inside sales and operations for sister organizations including, Kennedy, Clow Canada, M&H, and McWane International as well as evaluate their needs and collaborate with GM to modify stock plans.\
  • Administrative (5%): Accurately record sales invoices and audit documentation monthly to ensure all records are in adherence with ISO regulations. Evaluate inventory and collaborate with Master Scheduler to optimize logistical strategies. Timely resolve routing issues and credit returns to mitigate customer upsets.
