  • Overview

    The Inside Sales Representative proactively acts as the focal point of communication, by cultivating connections between customers, outside sales and internal team members. The Inside Sales Rep is an expert in industry standards and needs, who operates with transparency and integrity to provide a world class customer experience.


    • Employee Experience: Internal customer experience score a 9 or better out of 10.
    • Customer Experience: Score a 9 or more out of 10 on the Net Promoter Score.
    • Sustainability:
      • Sales order entry errors of RSGV and Hydrants at or less than 1 order per month
      • On time delivery of 90% for Wet Barrel Hydrants


    Order Fulfillment (35%): Monitors customer orders from conception to completion to guarantee on-time delivery and overall customer satisfaction. Meticulously manages and completes required administrative responsibilities, order fulfillment, and proactively anticipates production gaps along with tactfully facilitating solutions to ensure world class customer service. 


    Customer Focus (25%): Acts as the face of Clow Valve through pro-actively building and maintaining relationships and creating opportunities that increase distributors’ knowledge of Clow products. Fosters these relationships with responsive and open communications regarding customer requests. Provides accurate information on pricing and product specifications to allow for informed decision making for order placement.


    Team Collaboration (20%): Coordinates and follows-through on customer requests through interacting with Clow team members including production, shipping, and outside sales with clear, timely, and succinct communications. Acts as the accountability partner between customers and internal Clow staff to uphold timely and responsive customer service and ensure product quality exceeds customer expectations by communicating any quality concerns with appropriate departments. 


    Training and Development (20%): Pro-actively develops knowledge of industry standards, requirements, and products to be the go-to resource and expert for water-works products. Astutely gathers, analyzes, and evaluates market intelligence by attending trade-shows and conferences and other research opportunities to expand sales capacities. Develops personal ability to grow and strives to improve by actively seeking coaching and mentoring opportunities.







    Associates degree in Business or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience working in sales and/or manufacturing and/or waterworks industry.


    Current high-level competency of Microsoft A/X or ability to obtain desired level within three months of hire. Knoweldge of Microsoft Excel, computer skills, filing, and great organizational skills. Excels in math computations.
