    The Junior Systems Administrator is a principal role in positioning Clow Valve as a leader in the waterworks industry by diligently providing network and systems support.

    1. Support (70%): Provide thorough support and training to all members of the organization to ensure sound functional knowledge of all technology and software that is utilized in day to day operations. Diligently address FreshDesk tickets by creating trusting relationships with employees, troubleshooting user functionality issues, and providing resolutions. Partner with the Corporate IT team to enhance user security and install new forward moving hardware/software. Use system knowledge to investigate areas for improvement, initiate and implement solution integration to allow for unequivocal customer service throughout all dimensions of the organization. Assiduously maintain, 40+ network switches, windows servers, and active directory. Provide support to the manufacturing team through the utilization of the Manufacturing Execution System. Update and maintain core business application programs that ensure successful transactions, including maintenance of the VOIP system, DHCP/DNS/IP reservations, and FreshDesk.
    2. Project Management (20%): Be an active partner that understands the technological system needs of the company and strategically collaborate among all levels of the organization to meet those needs. Conscientiously review, refine, and prioritize projects/requests for the IT team and complete with efficiency. Generate working relationships along all facets to ensure seamless transitions and integration of hardware, responsively communicate with team members about progress on issue resolution and FreshDesk requests.
    3. Professional Development (10%): Thoroughly research the needs of the organization, new modernized technology, and align those needs with forwarding moving innovative products that enhance user functionality. Be a knowledge resource and mentor for the organization by actively seeking professional development opportunities that provide thorough understanding of system/network limitations and provide solutions for improved functionality. Accurately develop road maps that show hardware names/placements and assist interns/contractors with location awareness.


    Technical Skills:

    • Experience with DHCP/DNS/IP, LAN/WAN, VOIP systems, and Cisco networking
    • Experience with computer hardware/software
    • Experience with Microsoft server operating systems
    • Knowledge of Office 365/One-Drive

    Education & Experience:

    • B.S in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
    • Preferred: B.S in Computer Science, MIS or related field with 1-3 years’ experience.
