    The CNC Programmer drives innovation and continuous improvement by utilizing advanced manufacturing technology to maximize manufacturing excellence and sustainability.




      1. Employee Experience: Coordinate 2 trainings for the Machine Shop on machining annually.
      2. Sustainability: Implement 24 production cost reductions per year.
      3. Customer Experience: 100% of new machinist complete basic Blueprint reading and measurement within 90 days.




    1. Continuous Improvement (40%): Cultivate and foster trusting relationships across the organization to cohesively implement engineering changes and provide thorough support for all machinist. Diligently analyze programs, processes, tooling, and metrics to provide possible solutions to production efficiency, tooling cost reductions, and machine usability efficiency. Review, update, and create processes for the production floor that ensure maximum productivity and quality products. Actively seek opportunities for improvement within the organization and professionally by researching new technologies, processes, and tooling.
    2. Programming (30%): Proactively work with the engineering department to provide time/cost effective programs for new products, fixturing, and process understanding. Accurately record and maintain all documentation pertaining to machine set-ups, processes, and best practices to ensure correct training is provided for machinists. Accurately maintain all backup programs for machines within the organization and provide support to maintenance when needed as a CAM software knowledge resource.
    3. Training and Development (15%): Administer and manage all CNC Premium tests and MasterTask training to ensure all new machinist are qualified. Cohesively work with all supervisors to provide thorough training to all machinist, providing them with a full understanding of machine diagnostics and best practice machining expectations. Partner with Machining Supervisors to assess all machine capabilities and machinist qualifications to guarantee maximum productivity. Organize, lead, and maintain the manufacturing excellence team in service of reducing cycle times, tooling costs, and process enhancements.
    4. Troubleshooting (15%): Work with the machinist to troubleshoot programs, tooling, and quality issues to gain understanding of the limitations of production. Work cohesively as a team to provide possible solutions for enhancement/improvement. Actively assist the maintenance department with all machine functionality downtime issues and act as a knowledge resource to ensure machine downtime issues are fixed efficiently.





    • CAD/CAM Experience.
    • Strong Mathematical aptitude in Trigonometry and Geometry.
    • Understanding of fundamental manufacturing and cutting tools.
    • Capable of 1st article inspection, insert grade and Geometry selection.
    • Metallurgical knowledge a plus.
    • Proven ability and desire to help team members gain knowledge and grow in the machining field.


    • 8 + years CNC machining experience
    • 8 + years of proven high-level Programming Experience


    • CNC Technical Degree with 8 + years of strong programming and machining experience.
