Overview

2ND SHIFT POSITION: MONDAY-THURSDAY 10 HOUR SHIFT (3:00 P.M. TO 1:30 A.M.)

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $24.29

HEALTH INSURANCE AFTER 60 DAYS

 

This position is for machine shop weld booth whose general responsibilities will be to fix minor repairs on valves and/or hydrants.

Responsibilities

Position responsibilities will include but are not limited too:

-Inspection of valves or hydrants

-Prepare the valve or hydrant to cut or weld by utilizing hoists to move object to weld booth.

-Performing welding job or cutting job to correct imperfections.

-Grind the weld and clean up of welding area.

-After valve or hydrant has been fixed, palletization of the part using hoist.

-General fork lift driving performed as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications include but are not limited too:

-Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
-Standing greater than 6 hours per day.
-Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
-Ability to work around machinery.
-Ability to use hand tools & do repetitive work. 
-Manufacturing Experience is considered
-Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots.
